A few pioneers have skillfully navigated its complexities, within the fast paced world of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. With a strong academic background and nearly a decade of experience in the blockchain sector, one individual's journey highlights the profound impact of technology and the importance of community involvement. 

The story begins on Ensar Esen, or te_ensar, with his academic pursuits at Karabük University, where he earned a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. His academic journey was marked by a deep seated curiosity and a drive to continuously improve himself. 

"Throughout my academic career, my interest in engineering and my curiosity in this field pushed me to continuously learn more and improve myself," Ensar recounts. His university years were not just about theoretical learning but also practical applications. "I had the opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge in practice through internships and courses at companies such as Mercedes Benz," he adds. 

These experiences helped him develop crucial skills such as teamwork, analytical thinking, and leadership skills that would prove invaluable in his future endeavours.

The Blockchain Awakening

Ensar’s entry into the blockchain sector was initially sparked by his interest in cryptocurrency. "When I first got into it, I didn't get into 'Blockchain', I got into 'Cryptocurrency'," he admits candidly. This distinction is important, as many newcomers to the field are drawn by the allure of cryptocurrencies without fully understanding the underlying blockchain technology. 

For him, the journey from cryptocurrency to blockchain was both natural and enlightening. "As I dove deeper into the industry, I had the opportunity to delve deeper into blockchain technology and I haven't left since," he said .

From Community Management to Social Mining

Ensar’s involvement in the blockchain community began in earnest during his senior year at university. His active participation in the MultiversX (formerly Elrond Network) Turkey Telegram group led to a crucial opportunity. 

‍"I attracted attention and was offered a community manager position," he recalls. This role marked the beginning of his adventure in blockchain, where he met influential figures like @nipek, who played a significant role in his journey. " She was instrumental in introducing me to DAO Labs," He notes gratefully.

Role of a Langchat Administrator

In his current role as a Langchat administrator of Turkey within the DAO Labs Community, he serves as a crucial link between the global community and the Turkish side. 

"My main duties are to act as a bridge between the global side and the Turkish side," he explains. This involves translating various materials to ensure that the local community can easily access and understand the content. Unlike project groups focused on price discussions, Social Mining requires a different approach. Here, I have to examine every task that comes out differently early on because I may encounter questions about the tasks," he elaborates.

The Significance of Social Mining

For him, Social Mining is more than just a means to earn; it represents a significant way to add value to the community and contribute to project success. "Social mining is an important tool that allows projects to strengthen and expand with the active participation of communities," he asserts. This active participation helps in the development and adoption of blockchain projects. He sees Social Mining as a cornerstone of the ecosystem, where miners play a pivotal role in spreading awareness and supporting project growth.

Balancing Tasks 

Managing the responsibilities of a social miner while balancing a busy schedule can be challenging. He describes his work as flexible in terms of hours, with both advantages and drawbacks. "I don't work 9-5. I have the advantage of taking a shower, making a huge cup of coffee, etc. And of course, my work is as close as the distance to my computer," he explains. Despite the flexibility, the work often extends late into the night. "Sometimes I work until 4-5 in the morning, and sometimes I don't even sleep at all," he adds.

When it comes to DAO Labs hubs, Ensar is impressed by the success and potential of each project. "Every project in DAO Labs' SocMin family is very successful, or has the potential to be very successful," he notes. While he acknowledges the strengths of all hubs, he particularly appreciates one hub. "I see DAOVERSE as kind of a leader of Hubs," he states, reflecting his admiration for its achievements and potential.

Advice for Social Miners

He reflects on how recent drops in the crypto market have impacted him as both a trader and a Social Miner. While he acknowledges the challenges of trading, he views market dips as advantageous for Social Miners. "Dips should make the Social Miner happy," he says, explaining how lower prices can increase the amount of tokens earned. He sees Social Mining as an investment of skills and labour rather than money, making market variations less of a concern.
