One of the most inspiring members of the Social Mining community is  @LuckiestSS, a new mother from the Philippines. Her journey from a traditional job to becoming a recognized member of the Pinoy Social Mining Community is both motivating and relatable.

A Life-Changing Discovery

A story began by reflecting on her life before joining Social Mining. "Hi, I'm Shana Sophia Olaya! Before entering the world of Social Mining, I was a call center agent. But I had to quit my job because of a complicated pregnancy." 

‍Balancing the demands of a long daily commute with pregnancy complications made it impossible for Shana to continue her job. However, as one door closed, another opened. She was introduced to Social Mining by her cousin, @azra1eL, who, despite his "comically unfortunate looks" (as Shana humorously put it), knew his way around the mining world.

With her cousin's guidance, Shana officially began her Social Mining journey in March 2024, and it has been nothing short of exciting since then. Social Mining provided her with the flexibility and opportunity to stay connected with the world, earn an income, and remain productive while navigating the challenges of motherhood. 

"It's given me a way to stay connected to the world and be productive, all while managing my new life as a mom," Shana said with enthusiasm.

A True Team Effort

Being a new mother is challenging enough, but balancing that with the demands of Social Mining was no easy task for Shana. She candidly shared how overwhelming the first few weeks were. "I HAD NO CLUE WHAT TO DO! I had to take the perfect few weeks to recover and settle into our new life."

However, with time, Shana and her husband developed a system that allowed her to manage both her family and her Social Mining responsibilities.

 "My husband and I have a system where we trade off watching the baby. He babysits when I need the extra time to focus on Social Mining. It's a real team effort!" 

Through mutual support, Shana found the balance she needed to continue being active in the community while taking care of her newborn.

Consistency and Passion

Shana's consistency and passion for Social Mining have earned her a top spot in the Pinoy community, a fact she was pleasantly surprised to learn during our interview. "I never had any idea that I was one of the top users," she exclaimed. For her, success was never the goal; her primary focus has always been consistency and putting in her best effort.

She attributes her achievements to staying motivated and enjoying the process. "It's ultimately about staying motivated, working passionately, and enjoying your process," she said. Shana believes that recognition in Social Mining comes organically when you're passionate about what you do.

Her humility and dedication shine through in everything she does, making her a role model for aspiring social miners. "All I care about is that I am fortunate enough to contribute," she added, showing her grounded nature and commitment to the broader community.

A Motivating Milestone

One of the most significant moments in her Social Mining journey was when RWA CEO, Sir Kevin Yunai, personally commented on her video post. "1 word. WOW," she said, still amazed by the recognition. 

For Shana, having her work noticed by someone as influential as Sir Kevin was both exhilarating and validating. "I felt so excited and freaking proud knowing all the work I had to put into this post actually got seen by an incredible person. It was worth it!"

This recognition not only gave her a confidence boost but also reaffirmed that she was on the right path with her efforts in Social Mining. "It is moments like that which drive me to push myself further and aim for perfection." This moment serves as a testament to the power of hard work, consistency, and the community focused nature of Social Mining, where contributions are noticed and celebrated!

Achievements in Social Mining

Throughout her journey, she has earned several achievements in Social Mining. She proudly shared some of her most significant accomplishments with us. ‘’One task in KAVA Hub gave me 400 pts and a 0.1 rep, in Polygon Hub, I got 555 pts. and a 0.50 rep. I also gained 451 and a 0.1 rep in the TON hub. These wins set a tone for momentum and brought my confidence up to where it should be’’ she shares.

However, one of her proudest achievements came from her first task in the RWA Hub, where she scored 600 points and 0.02 reputation. "These achievements really keep me plugging away and doing better here in Social Mining," Shana said. 

These milestones not only boosted her confidence but also solidified her belief in the value of her contributions to the community.

Keys to Standing Out

When asked how she approaches tasks to ensure her work stands out, Shana emphasized two key factors: originality and high-quality content. "What matters to me is those two. I get into creative mode and try to produce something unique or interesting whenever I start a new task."

She strives to create work that gets people's curiosity and encourages them to engage with her content. 

"As human beings, we all are curious to some degree, so I always try to make the content interesting enough for people to make them stop, look, and read descriptions."

She also believes that creativity flows naturally when you're passionate about what you're doing. This balance of creativity and passion has been a driving force behind her success in earning higher points and recognition within the Social Mining community.

Blockchain's Potential and the Future of Social Mining

Her participation in Social Mining has not only provided her with financial stability but also strengthened her belief in blockchain's potential. While many still view cryptocurrency with skepticism, She sees it as part of a much larger ecosystem. "Crypto is the magic money universe to many people, but it represents one end where Blockchain has much more potential."

For her, Social Mining is a space where blockchain technology and community engagement intersect, offering long-term career opportunities for talented individuals. "Social Mining can be a career for more talented people who want to live long lives," she explained. 

As blockchain technology continues to evolve, Shana believes that the potential within Social Mining will only grow, making it an exciting and promising field for those willing to explore it.
